Die Wüste und ihre Städte sollen sich freuen, die Dörfer, die Kedar bewohnt. Die Bewohner von Sela sollen singen vor Freude und jubeln auf den Gipfeln der Berge.

Rufet laut, ihr Wüsten und die Städte darin samt den Dörfern, da Kedar wohnt; es sollen jauchzen, die in den Felsen wohnen, und rufen von den Höhen der Berge!

Auch die Wüste und alle, die dort leben, sollen in das Lied mit einstimmen. Singt und jubelt, ihr Beduinen von Kedar! Ihr aus dem Bergland, steigt auf die Gipfel und jubelt ihm zu!
