Darum — so spricht der HERR: Siehe, ich lege diesem Volk Hindernisse in den Weg, sodass sie darüber straucheln. Väter und Söhne zusammen, einer wie der andere geht zugrunde.

Darum spricht der HERR also: Siehe, ich will diesem Volk einen Anstoß in den Weg stellen, daran sich die Väter und Kinder miteinander stoßen und ein Nachbar mit dem andern umkommen sollen.

Seht, ich lege diesem Volk Hindernisse in den Weg, über die es stürzen wird. Väter und Söhne, Nachbarn und Freunde, sie alle kommen um! Darauf gebe ich, der HERR, mein Wort.«
