Am achten Tag rief Mose Aaron, seine Söhne und die Ältesten Israels zusammen
The Lord Accepts Aaron’s Offering
On the eighth day Moses called Aaron and his sons and the elders of Israel,

und sagte zu Aaron: Nimm ein Kalb für ein Sündopfer und einen Widder für ein Brandopfer, fehlerlose Tiere, und bring sie vor dem HERRN dar!
and he said to Aaron, “Take for yourself a bull calf for a sin offering and a ram for a burnt offering, both without blemish, and offer them before the Lord.
Dann sollst du zu den Israeliten sagen: Nehmt einen Ziegenbock für ein Sündopfer, ferner ein Kalb und ein Schaf, einjährige und fehlerlose Tiere, für ein Brandopfer,
And say to the people of Israel, ‘Take a male goat for a sin offering, and a calf and a lamb, both a year old without blemish, for a burnt offering,
ein Rind und einen Widder für ein Heilsopfer, um sie vor dem HERRN zu schlachten, und ein Speiseopfer, das mit Öl vermengt ist. Denn heute wird euch der HERR erscheinen.
and an ox and a ram for peace offerings, to sacrifice before the Lord, and a grain offering mixed with oil, for today the Lord will appear to you.’”
Sie brachten, was Mose geboten hatte, zum Offenbarungszelt und die ganze Gemeinde kam herbei und stellte sich vor dem HERRN auf.
And they brought what Moses commanded in front of the tent of meeting, and all the congregation drew near and stood before the Lord.
Mose sagte: Das ist es, was der HERR euch zu tun geboten hat, damit euch die Herrlichkeit des HERRN erscheint.
And Moses said, “This is the thing that the Lord commanded you to do, that the glory of the Lord may appear to you.”
Dann sagte Mose zu Aaron: Tritt zum Altar hin, bring dein Sünd- und dein Brandopfer dar und erwirke so für dich und für das Volk Versöhnung! Dann bring das Opfer des Volkes dar und erwirke für es Versöhnung, wie der HERR geboten hat.
Then Moses said to Aaron, “Draw near to the altar and offer your sin offering and your burnt offering and make atonement for yourself and for the people, and bring the offering of the people and make atonement for them, as the Lord has commanded.”
Aaron trat an den Altar und schlachtete das Kalb des Sündopfers, das für ihn bestimmt war.
So Aaron drew near to the altar and killed the calf of the sin offering, which was for himself.
Dann brachten ihm die Söhne Aarons das Blut; er tauchte seinen Finger in das Blut, tat es auf die Hörner des Altars und goss das übrige Blut am Sockel des Altars aus.
And the sons of Aaron presented the blood to him, and he dipped his finger in the blood and put it on the horns of the altar and poured out the blood at the base of the altar.
Das Fett, die Nieren und die Fettmasse über der Leber vom Sündopfer ließ er auf dem Altar in Rauch aufgehen, wie es der HERR dem Mose geboten hatte.
But the fat and the kidneys and the long lobe of the liver from the sin offering he burned on the altar, as the Lord commanded Moses.
Das Fleisch und das Fell verbrannte er im Feuer außerhalb des Lagers.
The flesh and the skin he burned up with fire outside the camp.
Danach schlachtete er das Brandopfer; die Söhne Aarons reichten ihm das Blut und er sprengte es ringsum an den Altar.
Then he killed the burnt offering, and Aaron’s sons handed him the blood, and he threw it against the sides of the altar.
Sie reichten ihm die einzelnen Stücke und den Kopf des Brandopfers und er ließ sie auf dem Altar in Rauch aufgehen.
And they handed the burnt offering to him, piece by piece, and the head, and he burned them on the altar.
Er wusch die Eingeweide und Beine und ließ auch sie mit dem Brandopfer auf dem Altar in Rauch aufgehen.
And he washed the entrails and the legs and burned them with the burnt offering on the altar.
Dann ließ er das Opfer des Volkes heranbringen. Er nahm den Bock für das Sündopfer des Volkes, schlachtete ihn und brachte ihn wie den ersten als Sündopfer dar.
Then he presented the people’s offering and took the goat of the sin offering that was for the people and killed it and offered it as a sin offering, like the first one.
Darauf ließ er das Brandopfer bringen und verfuhr nach der Vorschrift.
And he presented the burnt offering and offered it according to the rule.
Er ließ das Speiseopfer bringen, nahm eine Handvoll davon und ließ es auf dem Altar in Rauch aufgehen, dazu noch das Morgenbrandopfer.
And he presented the grain offering, took a handful of it, and burned it on the altar, besides the burnt offering of the morning.
Dann schlachtete er das Rind und den Widder als Heilsopfer für das Volk. Die Söhne Aarons reichten ihm das Blut und er sprengte es ringsum an den Altar.
Then he killed the ox and the ram, the sacrifice of peace offerings for the people. And Aaron’s sons handed him the blood, and he threw it against the sides of the altar.
Die Fettstücke des Rinds und des Widders, und zwar den Fettschwanz, das Eingeweidenetz, die Nieren und die Fettmasse über der Leber,
But the fat pieces of the ox and of the ram, the fat tail and that which covers the entrails and the kidneys and the long lobe of the liver —
legten sie auf die Bruststücke und er ließ die Fettstücke auf dem Altar in Rauch aufgehen.
they put the fat pieces on the breasts, and he burned the fat pieces on the altar,
Die Bruststücke und die rechte Schenkelkeule hob Aaron vor dem HERRN als Erhebungsopfer empor, wie es Mose geboten hatte.
but the breasts and the right thigh Aaron waved for a wave offering before the Lord, as Moses commanded.
Dann erhob Aaron seine Hände über das Volk und segnete es. Nachdem er so das Sünd- und das Brandopfer sowie das Heilsopfer vollzogen hatte, stieg er herunter
Then Aaron lifted up his hands toward the people and blessed them, and he came down from offering the sin offering and the burnt offering and the peace offerings.
und Mose ging mit Aaron in das Offenbarungszelt. Dann kamen beide heraus und segneten das Volk. Da erschien die Herrlichkeit des HERRN dem ganzen Volk.
And Moses and Aaron went into the tent of meeting, and when they came out they blessed the people, and the glory of the Lord appeared to all the people.
Feuer ging vom HERRN aus und verzehrte das Brandopfer und die Fettstücke auf dem Altar. Als das ganze Volk das sah, stieß es Jubelschreie aus und alle fielen auf ihr Gesicht nieder.
And fire came out from before the Lord and consumed the burnt offering and the pieces of fat on the altar, and when all the people saw it, they shouted and fell on their faces.
