Siehe, ich gehe gegen dich vor — Spruch des HERRN der Heerscharen. Deine Schleppe hebe ich auf bis über dein Gesicht und lasse die Völker deine Blöße sehen; die Königreiche sehen deine Schande.

Siehe, ich will an dich, spricht der HERR Zebaoth; ich will dir deine Säume aufdecken unter dein Angesicht und will den Heiden deine Blöße und den Königreichen deine Schande zeigen.

Denn so spricht der HERR, der allmächtige Gott: »Jetzt ziehe ich dich zur Rechenschaft! Ich reiße dir den Rock hoch bis übers Gesicht, dass du vor den Völkern nackt dastehst und dich zu Tode schämen musst.
