Das ist die Strafe für ihren Hochmut; denn sie höhnten und führten große Reden gegen das Volk des HERRN der Heerscharen.

Das soll ihnen begegnen für ihre Hoffart, daß sie des HERRN Zebaoth Volk geschmäht und sich gerühmt haben.

Denn diese Völker waren stolz und überheblich, sie haben sich über das Volk des HERRN, des allmächtigen Gottes, lustig gemacht.
