bis wir alle zur Einheit im Glauben und der Erkenntnis des Sohnes Gottes gelangen, zum vollkommenen Menschen, zur vollen Größe, die der Fülle Christi entspricht.

bis daß wir alle hinankommen zu einerlei Glauben und Erkenntnis des Sohnes Gottes und ein vollkommener Mann werden, der da sei im Maße des vollkommenen Alters Christi,

Dadurch werden wir im Glauben immer mehr eins werden und miteinander den Sohn Gottes immer besser kennen lernen. Wir sollen zu mündigen Christen heranreifen, zu einer Gemeinde, die ihn in seiner ganzen Fülle widerspiegelt.
