Wasser zermahlt die Steine zu Sand, und Sturzbäche reißen den Erdboden fort. Genauso zerstörst du jede Hoffnung des Menschen.

Wasser wäscht Steine weg, und seine Fluten flößen die Erde weg: aber des Menschen Hoffnung ist verloren;

Das Wasser zerreibt Steine, Platzregen spült das Erdreich fort; so machst du die Hoffnung des Menschen zunichte.
