Dann betrachtete Esau die Frauen und die Kinder. »Wer sind sie?«, fragte er. »Das sind die Kinder, die Gott deinem Diener in seiner Güte geschenkt hat«, antwortete Jakob.

Dann erhob Esau seine Augen und sah die Frauen mit den Kindern. Er fragte: Wer sind die dort bei dir? Die Kinder, erwiderte er, die Gott deinem Knecht aus Wohlwollen geschenkt hat.
