daß sie und ihre Kinder hüten sollten die Tore am Hause des HERRN, nämlich an dem Hause der Hütte, daß sie sein warteten.

Nun sollten die ausgewählten Männer und ihre Nachkommen die Eingänge zum Tempel des HERRN bewachen, so wie man es einst am heiligen Zelt getan hatte.

Mit ihren Söhnen standen sie nach der Dienstordnung als Wächter an den Toren zum Haus des HERRN, zum Haus des Zeltes.
