Ich will sie nicht auf ein Jahr ausstoßen vor dir, auf daß nicht das Land wüst werde und sich wilde Tiere wider dich mehren;

Aber ich werde sie nicht alle auf einmal vertreiben, sonst ist das Land menschenleer und öde, und die wilden Tiere vermehren sich so sehr, dass sie euch schaden.

Ich vertreibe sie aber nicht gleich im ersten Jahr; sonst verödet das Land und die wilden Tiere könnten zu deinem Schaden überhandnehmen.
