Da gebot Mose, daß man rufen ließ durchs Lager: Niemand tue mehr zur Hebe des Heiligtums. Da hörte das Volk auf zu bringen.

Mose ließ im ganzen Lager ausrufen: »Ihr Männer und Frauen, ihr braucht nichts mehr für den Bau des Heiligtums herzubringen!« Da brachten die Israeliten keine weiteren Gaben.

Da erließ Mose einen Befehl und ließ im Lager ausrufen: Weder Mann noch Frau soll sich weiterhin um eine Abgabe für das Heiligtum bemühen. So bewog man das Volk, nichts mehr zu bringen.
