und spricht: Es ist ein Geringes, daß du mein Knecht bist, die Stämme Jakobs aufzurichten und die Bewahrten Israels wiederzubringen; sondern ich habe dich auch zum Licht der Heiden gemacht, daß du seist mein Heil bis an der Welt Ende.

Er spricht zu mir: »Du sollst nicht nur die zwölf Stämme Israels wieder zu einem Volk vereinigen und die Überlebenden zurückbringen. Dafür allein habe ich dich nicht in meinen Dienst genommen, das wäre zu wenig. Nein — ich habe dich zum Licht für alle Völker gemacht, damit du der ganzen Welt die Rettung bringst, die von mir kommt!«

Und er sagte: Es ist zu wenig, dass du mein Knecht bist, nur um die Stämme Jakobs wieder aufzurichten und die Verschonten Israels heimzuführen. Ich mache dich zum Licht der Nationen; damit mein Heil bis an das Ende der Erde reicht.
