Wie das Vieh ins Feld hinabgeht, brachte der Geist des HERRN sie zur Ruhe; also hast du dein Volk geführt, auf daß du dir einen herrlichen Namen machtest.

Der Geist des HERRN führte das Volk und brachte sie schließlich ins Land Kanaan. Hier konnten sie sich niederlassen und Ruhe finden wie eine Herde, die von den Berghängen hinunter in ein grünes Tal kommt.« So hast du, o Gott, dein Volk damals geführt, damit dein herrlicher Name geehrt wird.

Wie das Vieh, das ins Tal hinabsteigt, so ließ sie der Geist des HERRN zur Ruhe kommen. So führtest du dein Volk, um dir einen prachtvollen Namen zu machen.
