So höret nun den Ratschlag des HERRN, den er über Babel hat, und seine Gedanken, die er hat über die Einwohner im Lande der Chaldäer! Was gilt’s? ob nicht die Hirtenknaben sie fortschleifen werden und ihre Wohnung zerstören.

So hört nun, welchen Beschluss ich, der HERR, über Babylon gefällt habe und was ich mit den Einwohnern von Babylonien vorhabe: Man wird sie alle, auch die Jüngsten unter ihnen, wie hilflose Schafe forttreiben. Ja, das ganze Land wird entsetzt sein, wenn dies geschieht.

Darum hört den Beschluss des HERRN, den er gegen Babel gefasst hat, und seine Pläne, die er ersann gegen das Land der Chaldäer: Wegschleppen wird man die Jüngsten der Herde, ihr Weideplatz wird sich über sie entsetzen.
