Da sie nun zuhörten, sagte er weiter ein Gleichnis, darum daß er nahe bei Jerusalem war und sie meinten, das Reich Gottes sollte alsbald offenbart werden,

Die Leute hörten Jesus aufmerksam zu. Sie meinten, Gottes Reich würde unmittelbar anbrechen, sobald Jesus in Jerusalem eintraf. Darum erzählte er ihnen noch ein Gleichnis:

Weil Jesus schon nahe bei Jerusalem war, meinten die Menschen, die von alldem hörten, das Reich Gottes werde sofort erscheinen. Daher erzählte er ihnen ein weiteres Gleichnis.
