Und da die Tage ihrer Reinigung nach dem Gesetz Mose’s kamen, brachten sie ihn gen Jerusalem, auf daß sie ihn darstellten dem HERRN

Als die Zeit vorüber war, in der laut dem Gesetz von Mose eine Frau nach der Geburt als unrein gilt, brachten Josef und Maria das Kind nach Jerusalem, um es dem Herrn zu weihen.

Als sich für sie die Tage der vom Gesetz des Mose vorgeschriebenen Reinigung erfüllt hatten, brachten sie das Kind nach Jerusalem hinauf, um es dem Herrn darzustellen,
