Darum so schäme dich nicht des Zeugnisses unsers HERRN noch meiner, der ich sein Gebundener bin, sondern leide mit für das Evangelium wie ich, nach der Kraft Gottes,

Schäm dich also nicht, dich in aller Öffentlichkeit zu unserem Herrn Jesus Christus zu bekennen. Halte weiter zu mir, obwohl ich jetzt für ihn im Gefängnis bin. Sei auch du bereit, für die rettende Botschaft zu leiden. Gott wird dir die Kraft dazu geben.

Schäme dich also nicht des Zeugnisses für unseren Herrn und auch nicht meiner, seines Gefangenen, sondern leide mit mir für das Evangelium! Gott gibt dazu die Kraft:
