und Pinehas, der Sohn Eleasars, Aarons Sohns, stand vor ihm zu der Zeit und sprachen: Sollen wir weiter ausziehen, zu streiten mit den Kindern Benjamin, unsern Brüdern, oder sollen wir ablassen? Der HERR sprach: Ziehet hinauf; morgen will ich sie in eure Hände geben.

und Pinhas, ein Sohn von Eleasar und Enkel von Aaron, übte das Priesteramt aus. »Sollen wir noch einmal gegen unsere Stammesbrüder von Benjamin kämpfen, oder sollen wir aufgeben?«, fragten die Israeliten. »Greift sie an«, antwortete der HERR, »morgen schenke ich euch den Sieg über sie.«

und Pinhas, der Sohn Eleasars, des Sohnes Aarons, stand in jenen Tagen vor ihm. Die Israeliten sagten: Soll ich noch einmal ausrücken zum Kampf mit den Söhnen meines Bruders Benjamin oder soll ich es sein lassen? Der HERR antwortete: Zieht hinauf! Denn morgen gebe ich ihn in deine Hand.
