Wie könnt ihr sagen: Weise sind wir und die Weisung des HERRN ist bei uns? Fürwahr, siehe: Der Lügengriffel der Schreiber hat es zur Lüge gemacht.

Wie mögt ihr doch sagen: »Wir wissen, was recht ist, und haben die heilige Schrift vor uns»? Ist’s doch eitel Lüge, was die Schriftgelehrten setzen.

Ihr behauptet: ›Wir sind weise, wir besitzen ja das Gesetz des HERRN!‹ Aber eure Gesetzeslehrer haben es durch ihre Auslegung völlig verdreht.
