Wie ist das Gold so gar verdunkelt und das feine Gold so häßlich geworden und liegen die Steine des Heiligtums vorn auf allen Gassen zerstreut!

Ach, das Gold hat seinen Glanz verloren, stumpf und matt ist es geworden. Die kostbaren Steine des Tempels liegen verstreut an allen Straßenecken.
