Und die Torkammer: Sie war eine Latte lang und eine Latte breit. Der Abstand zwischen den Torkammern betrug fünf Ellen. Und die Schwelle des Tors auf der Tempelseite der Vorhalle des Tors: eine Latte.

Und die Gemächer, so beiderseits neben dem Tor waren, maß er auch, nach der Länge eine Rute und nach der Breite eine Rute; und der Raum zwischen den Gemächern war fünf Ellen weit. Und er maß auch die Schwelle am Tor neben der Halle, die nach dem Hause zu war, eine Rute.

Innen hatte das Torgebäude auf beiden Seiten drei Kammern. Jede war gut 3 Meter lang und ebenso breit. Die Mauern zwischen den Kammern waren 2,5 Meter dick. Die hintere Torschwelle war — wie die vordere — etwas mehr als 3 Meter tief. Sie ging in eine Vorhalle über, die 4 Meter lang war. Die Mauerstücke rechts und links an ihrem Ausgang waren beide 1 Meter dick.
