Schlachtopfer, die mir dargebracht werden sollen, schlachten sie und essen das Fleisch selbst. Der HERR hat kein Gefallen an ihnen. Jetzt wird er ihrer Schuld gedenken und sie heimsuchen wegen ihrer Sünden: Sie müssen nach Ägypten zurückkehren.

Ob sie schon viel opfern und Fleisch herbringen und essen’s, so hat doch der HERR kein Gefallen an ihnen; sondern er will ihrer Missetat gedenken und ihre Sünden heimsuchen; sie sollen wieder nach Ägypten kommen!

Sie bringen mir Schlachtopfer dar und essen sich beim Opfermahl satt. An solchen Opfern habe ich, der HERR, keine Freude! Ich merke mir alles, was sie tun, und werde sie dafür bestrafen: Sie müssen zurück nach Ägypten!
