Hoffnung für Alle
So versahen die Leviten ihren Dienst im heiligen Zelt und später im Tempel. Sie unterstützten die Priester, ihre Stammesbrüder, bei der Arbeit im Tempel des HERRN.

daß sie des Dienstes an der Hütte des Stifts warteten und des Heiligtums und der Kinder Aaron, ihrer Brüder, zu dienen im Hause des HERRN.

So sollen sie den Dienst im Offenbarungszelt, den Dienst am Heiligtum und die Bedienung der Söhne Aarons, ihrer Amtsbrüder, bei ihren Verrichtungen im Haus des HERRN übernehmen.
