Für einen Mann zwischen 20 und 60 Jahren sind 50 Silberstücke zu zahlen, gemessen nach dem Gewicht, das im Heiligtum gilt;
And thy estimation shall be of the male from twenty years old even unto sixty years old, even thy estimation shall be fifty shekels of silver, after the shekel of the sanctuary.
für eine Frau im gleichen Alter müssen 30 Silberstücke gezahlt werden,
And if it be a female, then thy estimation shall be thirty shekels.

Kann derjenige, der das Gelübde abgelegt hat, den festgesetzten Betrag nicht aufbringen, soll er zum Priester gehen. Dieser legt einen Schätzwert für die betreffende Person fest und soll sich dabei nach dem richten, was der Mann bezahlen kann.
But if he be poorer than thy estimation, then he shall present himself before the priest, and the priest shall value him; according to his ability that vowed shall the priest value him.
Hat jemand mir, dem HERRN, ein Tier geweiht, das auch als Opfergabe geeignet ist, dann gilt es als heilig
And if it be a beast, whereof men bring an offering unto the LORD, all that any man giveth of such unto the LORD shall be holy.
und darf nicht eingetauscht werden, weder ein gutes gegen ein schlechtes noch ein schlechtes gegen ein gutes Tier. Tauscht dennoch jemand ein Tier gegen ein anderes ein, dann sollen beide Tiere mir gehören!
He shall not alter it, nor change it, a good for a bad, or a bad for a good: and if he shall at all change beast for beast, then it and the exchange thereof shall be holy.
Wird mir ein unreines Tier geweiht, das nicht als Opfergabe geeignet ist, dann soll der Besitzer es dem Priester zeigen.
And if it be any unclean beast, of which they do not offer a sacrifice unto the LORD, then he shall present the beast before the priest:
Dieser schätzt den Wert des Tieres nach dessen Vorzügen und Mängeln. An diesen festgelegten Preis soll man sich halten.
And the priest shall value it, whether it be good or bad: as thou valuest it, who art the priest, so shall it be.
Will der Eigentümer das Tier aber wieder zurückkaufen, muss er zum Schätzwert noch ein Fünftel dazugeben.
But if he will at all redeem it, then he shall add a fifth part thereof unto thy estimation.
Wenn jemand mir sein Haus weihen will, soll zunächst der Priester den Wert feststellen. Diese Schätzung ist rechtsgültig.
And when a man shall sanctify his house to be holy unto the LORD, then the priest shall estimate it, whether it be good or bad: as the priest shall estimate it, so shall it stand.
Wenn der Besitzer sein Haus dann doch wieder zurückkaufen will, muss er zusätzlich zum Schätzwert ein Fünftel bezahlen. Dann gehört das Haus wieder ihm.
And if he that sanctified it will redeem his house, then he shall add the fifth part of the money of thy estimation unto it, and it shall be his.
Will jemand ein geerbtes Stück Land mir, dem HERRN, weihen, soll man den Wert nach dem erforderlichen Saatgut festlegen. Für ein Feld, auf dem man drei Zentner Gerste aussäen kann, müssen 50 Silberstücke gezahlt werden,
And if a man shall sanctify unto the LORD some part of a field of his possession, then thy estimation shall be according to the seed thereof: an homer of barley seed shall be valued at fifty shekels of silver.
vorausgesetzt, der Besitzer weiht mir sein Feld vom Erlassjahr an.
If he sanctify his field from the year of jubile, according to thy estimation it shall stand.
Übereignet er das Grundstück erst danach, soll der Priester berechnen, wie viele Jahre noch bis zum nächsten Erlassjahr bleiben, und den Schätzwert entsprechend verringern.
But if he sanctify his field after the jubile, then the priest shall reckon unto him the money according to the years that remain, even unto the year of the jubile, and it shall be abated from thy estimation.
Falls der Besitzer sein Feld anschließend wieder zurückkaufen will, muss er ein Fünftel zum Schätzwert dazugeben. Dann gehört es wieder ihm.
And if he that sanctified the field will in any wise redeem it, then he shall add the fifth part of the money of thy estimation unto it, and it shall be assured to him.
Wenn er das Feld, das er mir geweiht hat, an einen anderen verkauft, ohne es vorher von mir zurückzukaufen, dann verliert er für immer das Recht auf Rückkauf.
And if he will not redeem the field, or if he have sold the field to another man, it shall not be redeemed any more.
In diesem Fall wird das Feld im nächsten Erlassjahr frei und ist dann für alle Zeiten mir geweiht. Es bleibt mein Eigentum und ist somit auch Eigentum der Priester.
But the field, when it goeth out in the jubile, shall be holy unto the LORD, as a field devoted; the possession thereof shall be the priest's.
Wenn jemand mir, dem HERRN, ein Stück Land weiht, das er nicht geerbt, sondern gekauft hat,
And if a man sanctify unto the LORD a field which he hath bought, which is not of the fields of his possession;
berechnet der Priester den Wert des Grundstücks nach der Zahl der Jahre bis zum nächsten Erlassjahr. Diesen Betrag zahlt der Betreffende noch am selben Tag als heilige Gabe für mich, den HERRN.
Then the priest shall reckon unto him the worth of thy estimation, even unto the year of the jubile: and he shall give thine estimation in that day, as a holy thing unto the LORD.
Im nächsten Erlassjahr fällt das Land wieder an den ursprünglichen Besitzer zurück, der es verkauft hatte.
In the year of the jubile the field shall return unto him of whom it was bought, even to him to whom the possession of the land did belong.
Die Silberstücke für den Rückkauf werden gewogen nach dem Gewicht, das im Heiligtum gilt. Ein Silberstück wiegt zwölf Gramm.
And all thy estimations shall be according to the shekel of the sanctuary: twenty gerahs shall be the shekel.
Das erstgeborene männliche Jungtier von allen Rindern, Schafen und Ziegen kann mir grundsätzlich nicht geweiht werden, weil es mir ohnehin gehört.

Hat jemand nun etwas von seinem Besitz unwiderruflich mir, dem HERRN, geweiht, ganz gleich ob Mensch, Tier oder Land, darf er nichts davon zurückerwerben oder an einen anderen verkaufen. Alles, was mir unwiderruflich geweiht wurde, ist besonders heilig.
Notwithstanding no devoted thing, that a man shall devote unto the LORD of all that he hath, both of man and beast, and of the field of his possession, shall be sold or redeemed: every devoted thing is most holy unto the LORD.
Wird mir ein Mensch übereignet, dann kann niemand ihn loskaufen. Er gehört allein mir und muss getötet werden!
None devoted, which shall be devoted of men, shall be redeemed; but shall surely be put to death.
Ein Zehntel jeder Ernte an Getreide und Früchten ist als heilige Abgabe für mich, den HERRN, bestimmt.

Auch von den Rindern, Schafen und Ziegen gehört mir jedes zehnte Tier und gilt somit als heilig. Wenn die Tiere abgezählt werden,

darf der Hirte sie nicht so vorbeiziehen lassen, dass nur die schwachen ausgewählt werden. Er darf auch kein gesundes gegen ein krankes austauschen. Sonst fallen beide Tiere unwiderruflich mir, dem Herrn, zu.«
He shall not search whether it be good or bad, neither shall he change it: and if he change it at all, then both it and the change thereof shall be holy; it shall not be redeemed.
