Hoffnung für Alle
So spricht der HERR über alles, der allmächtige Gott: »Auf allen Plätzen und Straßen wird man lautes Klagen und Jammergeschrei hören. Sogar die Bauern holt man vom Feld, damit sie ebenso wie die Klageweiber die Toten beweinen.

Darum so spricht der HERR, der Gott Zebaoth, der HERR: Es wird in allen Gassen Wehklagen sein, und auf allen Straßen wird man sagen: «Weh! weh!,« und man wird den Ackermann zum Trauern rufen, und zum Wehklagen, wer da weinen kann.

Darum — so spricht der HERR, der Gott der Heerscharen, mein Herr: Auf allen Plätzen herrscht Trauer und auf allen Gassen schreit man: Wehe! Wehe! Den Ackerknecht holt man zur Totenklage, den Kenner der Totenlieder ruft man zum Klagen.

The Coming Judgment
Therefore the LORD, the God of hosts, the Lord, saith thus; Wailing shall be in all streets; and they shall say in all the highways, Alas! alas! and they shall call the husbandman to mourning, and such as are skilful of lamentation to wailing. -
