Denn es geht im Lande und im Volk eben, wie wenn ein Ölbaum abgepflückt ist, wie wenn man nachliest, so die Weinernte aus ist.

Ja, so wird es den Völkern auf der ganzen Erde ergehen. Es wird aussehen wie am Ende der Ernte, wenn am Ölbaum alle Oliven abgeschlagen wurden und im Weinberg kaum noch Trauben zu finden sind.

Denn so wird es inmitten der Erde sein, mitten unter den Völkern, wie beim Abschlagen der Oliven, wie bei der Nachlese, wenn die Ernte vorbei ist.
