Und in demselben Jahr, im Anfang des Königreiches Zedekias, des Königs in Juda, im fünften Monat des vierten Jahres, sprach Hananja, der Sohn Assurs, ein Prophet von Gibeon, zu mir im Hause des HERRN, in Gegenwart der Priester und alles Volks, und sagte:
Hananiah’s Falsehood and Doom
And it happened in the same year, at the beginning of the reign of Zedekiah king of Judah, in the fourth year and in the fifth month, that Hananiah the son of Azur the prophet, who was from Gibeon, spoke to me in the house of the Lord in the presence of the priests and of all the people, saying,
And it happened in the same year, at the beginning of the reign of Zedekiah king of Judah, in the fourth year and in the fifth month, that Hananiah the son of Azur the prophet, who was from Gibeon, spoke to me in the house of the Lord in the presence of the priests and of all the people, saying,
So spricht der HERR Zebaoth, der Gott Israels: Ich habe das Joch des Königs zu Babel zerbrochen;
“Thus speaks the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel, saying: ‘I have broken the yoke of the king of Babylon.
und ehe zwei Jahre um sind, will ich alle Gefäße des Hauses des HERRN, welche Nebukadnezar, der König zu Babel, hat von diesem Ort weggenommen und gen Babel geführt, wiederum an diesen Ort bringen;
Within two full years I will bring back to this place all the vessels of the Lord’s house, that Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon took away from this place and carried to Babylon.
dazu Jechonja, den Sohn Jojakims, den König Juda’s, samt allen Gefangenen aus Juda, die gen Babel geführt sind, will ich auch wieder an diesen Ort bringen, spricht der HERR; denn ich will das Joch des Königs zu Babel zerbrechen.
Da sprach der Prophet Jeremia zu dem Propheten Hananja in der Gegenwart der Priester und des ganzen Volks, die im Hause des HERRN standen,
Then the prophet Jeremiah spoke to the prophet Hananiah in the presence of the priests and in the presence of all the people who stood in the house of the Lord,
und sagte: Amen! Der HERR tue also; der HERR bestätige dein Wort, das du geweissagt hast, daß er die Gefäße aus dem Hause des HERRN von Babel wieder bringe an diesen Ort samt allen Gefangenen.
and the prophet Jeremiah said, “Amen! The Lord do so; the Lord perform your words which you have prophesied, to bring back the vessels of the Lord’s house and all who were carried away captive, from Babylon to this place.
Aber doch höre auch dies Wort, das ich vor deinen Ohren rede und vor den Ohren des ganzen Volks:
Nevertheless hear now this word that I speak in your hearing and in the hearing of all the people:
Die Propheten, die vor mir und vor dir gewesen sind von alters her, die haben wider viel Länder und Königreiche geweissagt von Krieg, von Unglück und von Pestilenz;
The prophets who have been before me and before you of old prophesied against many countries and great kingdoms — of war and disaster and pestilence.
wenn aber ein Prophet von Frieden weissagt, den wird man kennen, ob ihn der HERR wahrhaftig gesandt hat, wenn sein Wort erfüllt wird.
As for the prophet who prophesies of peace, when the word of the prophet comes to pass, the prophet will be known as one whom the Lord has truly sent.”
Da nahm Hananja das Joch vom Halse des Propheten Jeremia und zerbrach’s.
Then Hananiah the prophet took the yoke off the prophet Jeremiah’s neck and broke it.
Und Hananja sprach in Gegenwart des ganzen Volks: So spricht der HERR: Ebenso will ich zerbrechen das Joch Nebukadnezars, des Königs zu Babel, ehe zwei Jahre um kommen, vom Halse aller Völker. Und der Prophet Jeremia ging seines Weges.
And Hananiah spoke in the presence of all the people, saying, “Thus says the Lord: ‘Even so I will break the yoke of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon from the neck of all nations within the space of two full years.’ ” And the prophet Jeremiah went his way.
Aber des HERRN Wort geschah zu Jeremia, nachdem der Prophet Hananja das Joch zerbrochen hatte vom Halse des Propheten Jeremia, und sprach:
Now the word of the Lord came to Jeremiah, after Hananiah the prophet had broken the yoke from the neck of the prophet Jeremiah, saying,
Gehe hin und sage Hananja: So spricht der HERR: Du hast das hölzerne Joch zerbrochen und hast nun ein eisernes Joch an jenes Statt gemacht.
“Go and tell Hananiah, saying, ‘Thus says the Lord: “You have broken the yokes of wood, but you have made in their place yokes of iron.”
Denn so spricht der HERR Zebaoth, der Gott Israels: Ein eisernes Joch habe ich allen diesen Völkern an den Hals gehängt, damit sie dienen sollen Nebukadnezar, dem König zu Babel, und müssen ihm dienen; denn ich habe ihm auch die wilden Tiere gegeben.
For thus says the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel: “I have put a yoke of iron on the neck of all these nations, that they may serve Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon; and they shall serve him. I have given him the beasts of the field also.” ’ ”
Und der Prophet Jeremia sprach zum Propheten Hananja: Höre doch, Hananja! Der HERR hat dich nicht gesandt, und du hast gemacht, daß dies Volk auf Lügen sich verläßt.
Then the prophet Jeremiah said to Hananiah the prophet, “Hear now, Hananiah, the Lord has not sent you, but you make this people trust in a lie.
Darum spricht der HERR also: Siehe, ich will dich vom Erdboden nehmen; dies Jahr sollst du sterben; denn du hast sie mit deiner Rede vom HERRN abgewendet.
Therefore thus says the Lord: ‘Behold, I will cast you from the face of the earth. This year you shall die, because you have taught rebellion against the Lord.’ ”
