Und ein jeder Cherub hatte zwei Angesichter: auf einer Seite wie ein Menschenkopf, auf der andern Seite wie ein Löwenkopf.

Dem Palmwedel auf der einen Seite wandten sie das Gesicht eines Menschen zu, dem Palmwedel auf der anderen Seite das eines Löwen. Diese Bilder waren auf allen Wänden des Tempels zu sehen, vom Fußboden bis oberhalb der Türen.

Ein Menschengesicht war der Palme von der einen Seite und ein Löwengesicht war der Palme von der andern Seite zugewandt. So war das ganze Haus ringsum ausgestaltet.
