Ich will aber dich, Jakob, versammeln ganz und die übrigen in Israel zuhauf bringen; ich will sie wie Schafe miteinander in einen festen Stall tun und wie eine Herde in ihre Hürden, daß es von Menschen tönen soll.

»Ich, der Herr, verspreche euch: Ich hole euch Nachkommen von Jakob, die ihr den Untergang Israels überlebt habt, wieder zurück. Wie ein Hirte seine Schafe in den schützenden Stall bringt, so versammle ich euch alle wieder in eurem Land. Dann wird es dort von Menschen wimmeln!

Sammeln, ja sammeln werde ich dich, Jakob, insgesamt. Zusammenbringen, ja zusammenbringen werde ich den Rest von Israel. Ich führe sie zusammen wie die Schafe im Pferch, wie die Herde mitten auf der Weide — eine tosende Menschenmenge.

I will surely assemble, O Jacob, all of thee; I will surely gather the remnant of Israel; I will put them together as the sheep of Bozrah, as the flock in the midst of their fold: they shall make great noise by reason of the multitude of men. -
