Bei Gott allein wird ruhig meine Seele, von ihm kommt mir Rettung.
He only is my rock and my salvation; he is my defence; I shall not be greatly moved.
Er allein ist mein Fels und meine Rettung, meine Burg, ich werde niemals wanken.
How long will ye imagine mischief against a man? ye shall be slain all of you: as a bowing wall shall ye be, and as a tottering fence.
Wie lange stürmt ihr heran gegen einen Einzelnen, ihr alle, um ihn zu morden, wie gegen eine Wand, die sich neigt, eine Mauer, die einstürzt?
They only consult to cast him down from his excellency: they delight in lies: they bless with their mouth, but they curse inwardly. Selah.

Trust in him at all times; ye people, pour out your heart before him: God is a refuge for us. Selah.
Vertraut ihm, Volk, zu jeder Zeit! Schüttet euer Herz vor ihm aus! Denn Gott ist unsere Zuflucht. [Sela]
Surely men of low degree are vanity, and men of high degree are a lie: to be laid in the balance, they are altogether lighter than vanity.
Nur Windhauch sind die Menschen, nur Trug die Menschenkinder. Sie schnellen empor auf der Waage, leichter als Windhauch sind sie alle.
Trust not in oppression, and become not vain in robbery: if riches increase, set not your heart upon them.
Vertraut nicht auf Unterdrückung, verlasst euch nicht auf Raub! Wenn der Reichtum wächst, verliert nicht euer Herz an ihn!
