Völker werden sie nehmen und sie an ihren Ort bringen und das Haus Israel wird sie sich als Erbbesitz zu eigen machen, auf dem Boden des HERRN zu Knechten und Mägden. Sie werden die gefangen halten, die sie gefangen hielten, und ihre Antreiber niedertreten.

der Völker schlug im Grimm — mit Schlägen ohne Unterlass, der Nationen in seinem Zorn zertrat — mit schonungsloser Verfolgung.
He who smote the people in wrath with a continual stroke, he that ruled the nations in anger, is persecuted, and none hindereth.
Die ganze Erde ist zur Ruhe gekommen, sie wurde still. Sie brachen in Jubel aus.
The whole earth is at rest, and is quiet: they break forth into singing.

Hell from beneath is moved for thee to meet thee at thy coming: it stirreth up the dead for thee, even all the chief ones of the earth; it hath raised up from their thrones all the kings of the nations.

Hinabgestürzt zur Unterwelt ist dein Hochmut, der Klang deiner Harfen. Unter dir sind Maden ausgebreitet und Würmer sind deine Decke.

Der die Erde zur Wüste gemacht hat, ihre Städte zerstörte und seine Gefangenen nicht nach Hause entließ?
That made the world as a wilderness, and destroyed the cities thereof; that opened not the house of his prisoners?
Alle Könige der Nationen ruhen in Ehren, jeder in seinem Haus;
All the kings of the nations, even all of them, lie in glory, every one in his own house.
du aber bist hingeworfen fern von deinem Grab, wie ein verachteter Spross, mit Erschlagenen bedeckt, vom Schwert Durchbohrten, die in steinerne Grüfte hinabsteigen wie ein zertretener Leichnam.
But thou art cast out of thy grave like an abominable branch, and as the raiment of those that are slain, thrust through with a sword, that go down to the stones of the pit; as a carcase trodden under feet.
Mit ihnen bist du nicht vereint im Grab, denn du hast dein Land zugrunde gerichtet, hingemordet dein eigenes Volk; die Brut von Übeltätern wird in Ewigkeit nicht mehr genannt werden.

Richtet die Schlachtbank her für seine Söhne wegen der Schuld ihrer Väter, damit sie nicht aufstehen, um die Welt in Besitz zu nehmen und die Fläche des Erdkreises mit Städten zu füllen!
Prepare slaughter for his children for the iniquity of their fathers; that they do not rise, nor possess the land, nor fill the face of the world with cities.
Ich werde gegen sie aufstehen — Spruch des HERRN der Heerscharen — und werde von Babel Namen und Überrest ausrotten, Nachkommen und Nachfahren — Spruch des HERRN.

Assur in meinem Land zu zerbrechen — und auf meinen Bergen will ich es zertreten. Dann weicht von ihnen sein Joch und seine Last weicht von ihrer Schulter.
That I will break the Assyrian in my land, and upon my mountains tread him under foot: then shall his yoke depart from off them, and his burden depart from off their shoulders.
Das ist der Plan, der für die ganze Erde beschlossen ist, das ist die Hand, die über alle Nationen ausgestreckt ist.

Rejoice not thou, whole Palestina, because the rod of him that smote thee is broken: for out of the serpent's root shall come forth a cockatrice, and his fruit shall be a fiery flying serpent.
Dann werden die Schwächsten der Schwachen Weide finden und die Armen in Sicherheit lagern; deine Wurzel aber werde ich durch Hunger töten und man wird deinen Rest umbringen.
And the firstborn of the poor shall feed, and the needy shall lie down in safety: and I will kill thy root with famine, and he shall slay thy remnant.
Heul auf, Tor! Schrei auf, Stadt! Verzage, ganz Philistäa! Denn von Norden kommt Rauch und keiner entfernt sich aus den Reihen seines Heeres.
Howl, O gate; cry, O city; thou, whole Palestina, art dissolved: for there shall come from the north a smoke, and none shall be alone in his appointed times.
