Hoffnung für Alle
Um eines habe ich den HERRN gebeten; das ist alles, was ich will: Solange ich lebe, möchte ich im Haus des HERRN bleiben. Dort will ich erfahren, wie freundlich der HERR ist, und still nachdenken in seinem Tempel.

Eins bitte ich vom HERRN, das hätte ich gerne: daß ich im Hause des HERRN bleiben möge mein Leben lang, zu schauen die schönen Gottesdienste des HERRN und seinen Tempel zu betrachten.

Eines habe ich vom HERRN erfragt, dieses erbitte ich: im Haus des HERRN zu wohnen alle Tage meines Lebens; die Freundlichkeit des HERRN zu schauen und nachzusinnen in seinem Tempel.
