Diese waren von den Kindern Gad, Häupter im Heer, der Kleinste über 100 und der größte über 1000.

Alle elf vom Stamm Gad wurden später Heerführer. Schon der Schwächste von ihnen konnte es im Kampf mit hundert Gegnern aufnehmen, der Stärkste sogar mit tausend.

Diese waren von den Gaditern gekommen. Sie waren Hauptleute im Heer. Der kleinste von ihnen nahm es mit hundert, der stärkste mit tausend auf.
