Darum spricht der HERR HERR Zebaoth: Fürchte dich nicht, mein Volk, das zu Zion wohnt, vor Assur. Er wird dich mit dem Stecken schlagen und seinen Stab wider dich aufheben, wie in Ägypten geschah.

Darum sagt der HERR, der allmächtige Gott: »Mein Volk auf dem Berg Zion, fürchtet euch nicht vor den Assyrern, auch wenn sie euch so hart unterdrücken, wie es damals die Ägypter mit euren Vorfahren getan haben.

Darum — so spricht der Herr, der GOTT der Heerscharen: Fürchte dich nicht, mein Volk, das auf dem Berg Zion wohnt, vor Assur, das dich mit dem Stock schlägt und das seinen Knüppel gegen dich erhebt nach der Art Ägyptens.

Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD of hosts, O my people that dwellest in Zion, be not afraid of the Assyrian: he shall smite thee with a rod, and shall lift up his staff against thee, after the manner of Egypt.
