aber bei den Propheten zu Jerusalem sehe ich Greuel, wie sie ehebrechen und gehen mit Lügen um und stärken die Boshaften, auf daß sich ja niemand bekehre von seiner Bosheit. Sie sind alle vor mir gleichwie Sodom, und die Bürger zu Jerusalem wie Gomorra.

Aber was ich unter den Propheten von Jerusalem sehe, ist noch viel erschreckender: Sie begehen Ehebruch, sie lügen und betrügen; und den, der ein gottloses Leben führt, bestärken sie noch darin, anstatt ihn davon abzubringen. In meinen Augen sind sie keinen Deut besser als die Einwohner von Sodom und Gomorra!

Aber bei den Propheten Jerusalems sah ich Grauenhaftes: Sie brechen die Ehe, gehen mit Lügen um und bestärken die Bösen, sodass keiner umkehrt von seiner Bosheit. Für mich sind sie alle wie Sodom und die in Jerusalem wohnen, sind für mich wie Gomorra.
