( Nehmet diese Worte mit euch und bekehret euch zum HERRN und sprecht zu ihm: Vergib uns alle Sünde und tue uns wohl; so wollen wir opfern die Farren unsrer Lippen.

Kommt zurück zum HERRN, sprecht mit ihm und sagt: »Vergib uns alle Schuld! Und nimm an, was wir dir bringen. Es ist das Beste, was wir geben können — kein Schlachtopfer, sondern unser Versprechen:

Nehmt Worte der Reue mit euch, kehrt um zum HERRN und sagt zu ihm: Nimm alle Schuld hinweg und nimm an, was gut ist: Anstelle von Stieren bringen wir dir unsere Lippen dar.
