Das sind die Erbteile, die Eleasar, der Priester, und Josua, der Sohn Nuns, und die Obersten der Vaterhäuser unter den Stämmen durchs Los den Kindern Israel austeilten zu Silo vor dem HERRN, vor der Tür der Hütte des Stifts; und vollendeten also das Austeilen des Landes.

Der Priester Eleasar, Josua und die Stammesoberhäupter hatten den einzelnen Stämmen ihre Gebiete zugeteilt. Dazu hatten sie sich in Silo vor dem Eingang des heiligen Zeltes versammelt und in der Gegenwart des HERRN das Los geworfen. So war nun die Verteilung des Landes Kanaan abgeschlossen.

Das sind die erblichen Anteile, die der Priester Eleasar und Josua, der Sohn Nuns, und die Häupter der Großfamilien der Israeliten in Schilo vor den Augen des HERRN, am Eingang des Offenbarungszeltes, den Stämmen der Israeliten durch das Los zuteilten. Dann waren sie mit der Verteilung des Landes fertig.
