Völker tobten, Reiche wankten; seine Stimme erscholl, da muss die Erde schmelzen.

Die Heiden müssen verzagen und die Königreiche fallen; das Erdreich muß vergehen, wenn er sich hören läßt.

Ringsum versinken die Völker im Chaos, und ihre Macht wird erschüttert. Denn Gott lässt seine mächtige Stimme erschallen, und schon vergeht die ganze Erde.
