O LORD my God, I cried unto thee, and thou hast healed me.
Ich will dich preisen, HERR, denn du hast mich aus der Tiefe heraufgezogen! Du hast meinen Feinden keinen Grund gegeben, sich über mein Unglück zu freuen.
O LORD, thou hast brought up my soul from the grave: thou hast kept me alive, that I should not go down to the pit.
HERR, mein Gott! Zu dir schrie ich um Hilfe, und du hast mich geheilt.
Sing unto the LORD, O ye saints of his, and give thanks at the remembrance of his holiness.

What profit is there in my blood, when I go down to the pit? Shall the dust praise thee? shall it declare thy truth?
Ich flehte um Erbarmen und schrie zu dir:
Hear, O LORD, and have mercy upon me: LORD, be thou my helper.
»Was hast du davon, wenn ich jetzt sterbe und man mich zu Grabe trägt? Kann ein Mensch dich noch loben, wenn er zu Staub zerfallen ist? Kann ein Toter noch von deiner Treue erzählen?
Thou hast turned for me my mourning into dancing: thou hast put off my sackcloth, and girded me with gladness;
Höre mich, HERR, und sei mir gnädig! HERR, komm du mir zu Hilfe!«
