Preisen sollen sie deinen großen und Furcht gebietenden Namen. Er ist heilig!
Let them praise thy great and terrible name; for it is holy.
Die Macht eines Königs ist das Recht, das er liebt. Du bist es, der die Ordnung gegründet hat. Recht und Gerechtigkeit in Jakob hast du bewirkt.
The king's strength also loveth judgment; thou dost establish equity, thou executest judgment and righteousness in Jacob.
Erhebt den HERRN, unsern Gott, werft euch nieder am Schemel seiner Füße! Er ist heilig!

Mose und Aaron sind unter seinen Priestern, Samuel unter denen, die seinen Namen anrufen. Sie riefen zum HERRN und er gab ihnen Antwort.

Aus der Wolkensäule sprach er zu ihnen, sie hielten seine Gebote und die Satzung, die er ihnen gegeben.
He spake unto them in the cloudy pillar: they kept his testimonies, and the ordinance that he gave them.
HERR, unser Gott, du gabst ihnen Antwort. Du warst ihnen ein vergebender Gott, doch ihre Vergehen hast du vergolten.
Thou answeredst them, O LORD our God: thou wast a God that forgavest them, though thou tookest vengeance of their inventions.
