Es erging das Wort des HERRN der Heerscharen:
The Coming Peace and Prosperity of Zion
Then the word of the LORD of hosts came, saying,
Then the word of the LORD of hosts came, saying,
So spricht der HERR der Heerscharen: Mit großem Eifer trete ich ein für Zion und mit großer Zornglut setze ich mich eifersüchtig für es ein.
“Thus says the LORD of hosts, ‘I am exceedingly jealous for Zion, yes, with great wrath I am jealous for her.’
So spricht der HERR: Ich bin nach Zion zurückgekehrt und werde wieder in der Mitte Jerusalems wohnen. Dann wird Jerusalem Stadt der Treue heißen und der Berg des HERRN der Heerscharen Heiliger Berg.
“Thus says the LORD, ‘I will return to Zion and will dwell in the midst of Jerusalem. Then Jerusalem will be called the City of Truth, and the mountain of the LORD of hosts will be called the Holy Mountain.’
So spricht der HERR der Heerscharen: Greise und Greisinnen werden wieder auf den Plätzen Jerusalems sitzen; jeder hält wegen des hohen Alters seinen Stock in der Hand.
“Thus says the LORD of hosts, ‘Old men and old women will again sit in the streets of Jerusalem, each man with his staff in his hand because of age.
Und die Plätze der Stadt werden voller Knaben und Mädchen sein, die auf ihren Plätzen spielen.
‘And the streets of the city will be filled with boys and girls playing in its streets.’
So spricht der HERR der Heerscharen: Wenn das zu wunderbar ist in den Augen des Restes dieses Volkes in jenen Tagen, muss es dann auch in meinen Augen zu wunderbar sein? — Spruch des HERRN der Heerscharen.
“Thus says the LORD of hosts, ‘If it is too difficult in the sight of the remnant of this people in those days, will it also be too difficult in My sight?’ declares the LORD of hosts.
So spricht der HERR der Heerscharen: Seht, ich befreie mein Volk aus dem Land des Sonnenaufgangs und aus dem Land des Sonnenuntergangs.
“Thus says the LORD of hosts, ‘Behold, I am going to save My people from the land of the east and from the land of the west;
Ich werde sie heimbringen und sie werden in der Mitte Jerusalems wohnen. Sie werden mir Volk sein und ich werde ihnen Gott sein in Treue und in Gerechtigkeit.
and I will bring them back and they will live in the midst of Jerusalem; and they shall be My people, and I will be their God in truth and righteousness.’
So spricht der HERR der Heerscharen: Stark sollen eure Hände sein, die ihr in diesen Tagen die Worte aus dem Mund der Propheten hört — so schon am Tag, an dem das Fundament für das Haus des HERRN der Heerscharen gelegt wurde, damit der Tempel gebaut werde.
“Thus says the LORD of hosts, ‘Let your hands be strong, you who are listening in these days to these words from the mouth of the prophets, those who spoke in the day that the foundation of the house of the LORD of hosts was laid, to the end that the temple might be built.
Denn vor diesen Tagen brachte die Arbeit des Menschen keinen Lohn, es gab auch keinen Arbeitslohn für das Vieh. Wer ausging und heimkehrte, fand keine Sicherheit vor dem Feind. Alle Menschen ließ ich gegeneinander los.
‘For before those days there was no wage for man or any wage for animal; and for him who went out or came in there was no peace because of his enemies, and I set all men one against another.
Jetzt aber bin ich zum Rest dieses Volkes nicht mehr so wie in den früheren Tagen — Spruch des HERRN der Heerscharen;
‘But now I will not treat the remnant of this people as in the former days,’ declares the LORD of hosts.
vielmehr ist das die Saat des Friedens: Der Weinstock gibt seine Frucht, das Land gibt seinen Ertrag und der Himmel gibt seinen Tau. Das alles will ich dem Rest dieses Volkes als Erbbesitz geben.
‘For there will be peace for the seed: the vine will yield its fruit, the land will yield its produce and the heavens will give their dew; and I will cause the remnant of this people to inherit all these things.
Und wie ihr ein Fluch unter den Völkern gewesen seid, Haus Juda und Haus Israel, so werde ich euch erretten, damit ihr ein Segen seid. Fürchtet euch nicht! Stark sollen eure Hände sein!
‘It will come about that just as you were a curse among the nations, O house of Judah and house of Israel, so I will save you that you may become a blessing. Do not fear; let your hands be strong.’
Denn so spricht der HERR der Heerscharen: Wie ich plante, euch Böses zu tun, weil eure Väter mich erzürnten, spricht der HERR der Heerscharen, und es mich nicht reute,
“For thus says the LORD of hosts, ‘Just as I purposed to do harm to you when your fathers provoked Me to wrath,’ says the LORD of hosts, ‘and I have not relented,
so habe ich umgekehrt in diesen Tagen geplant, Jerusalem und dem Haus Juda Gutes zu tun. Fürchtet euch nicht!
so I have again purposed in these days to do good to Jerusalem and to the house of Judah. Do not fear!
Das sind die Dinge, die ihr tun sollt: Sagt untereinander die Wahrheit! Richtet in euren Stadttoren der Wahrheit gemäß und mit Urteilen, die dem Frieden dienen!
‘These are the things which you should do: speak the truth to one another; judge with truth and judgment for peace in your gates.
Plant in eurem Herzen nichts Böses gegen euren Nächsten und liebt keine verlogenen Schwüre! Denn all das ist, was ich hasse — Spruch des HERRN.
‘Also let none of you devise evil in your heart against another, and do not love perjury; for all these are what I hate,’ declares the LORD.”
Und es erging an mich das Wort des HERRN der Heerscharen:
Then the word of the LORD of hosts came to me, saying,
So spricht der HERR der Heerscharen: Das Fasten des vierten, das Fasten des fünften, das Fasten des siebten und das Fasten des zehnten Monats soll für das Haus Juda zum Jubel und zur Freude und zu frohen Festen werden. Darum liebt die Treue und den Frieden!
“Thus says the LORD of hosts, ‘The fast of the fourth, the fast of the fifth, the fast of the seventh and the fast of the tenth months will become joy, gladness, and cheerful feasts for the house of Judah; so love truth and peace.’
So spricht der HERR der Heerscharen: Es wird noch geschehen, dass Völker herbeikommen und die Einwohner vieler Städte.
“Thus says the LORD of hosts, ‘It will yet be that peoples will come, even the inhabitants of many cities.
Die Einwohner der einen werden zur anderen gehen und sagen: Wir wollen gehen, um das Angesicht des HERRN gnädig zu stimmen und den HERRN der Heerscharen zu suchen! — Auch ich will hingehen!
‘The inhabitants of one will go to another, saying, “Let us go at once to entreat the favor of the LORD, and to seek the LORD of hosts; I will also go.”
Viele Völker und mächtige Nationen werden kommen, um in Jerusalem den HERRN der Heerscharen zu suchen und das Angesicht des HERRN gnädig zu stimmen.
‘So many peoples and mighty nations will come to seek the LORD of hosts in Jerusalem and to entreat the favor of the LORD.’
So spricht der HERR der Heerscharen: In jenen Tagen werden zehn Männer aus Nationen aller Sprachen einen Mann aus Juda an seinem Gewand fassen, ihn festhalten und sagen: Wir wollen mit euch gehen; denn wir haben gehört: Gott ist mit euch.
“Thus says the LORD of hosts, ‘In those days ten men from all the nations will grasp the garment of a Jew, saying, “Let us go with you, for we have heard that God is with you.”’”
