Dies sind die Kinder der Landschaft, die heraufzogen aus der Gefangenschaft, die Nebukadnezar, der König zu Babel, hatte gen Babel geführt und die wieder gen Jerusalem und nach Juda kamen, ein jeglicher in seine Stadt,

Viele Juden, deren Vorfahren König Nebukadnezar nach Babylonien verschleppt hatte, kehrten nun nach Jerusalem und nach ganz Juda zurück, jeder an den Ort, aus dem seine Familie ursprünglich stammte.

Und das sind die Leute, die aus der Provinz stammten, die hinaufzogen aus der Gefangenschaft und der Verschleppung. Nebukadnezzar, der König von Babel, hatte sie nach Babel verschleppt; nun kehrten sie nach Jerusalem und Juda zurück, jeder in seine Stadt.
