Be not thou envious against evil men, neither desire to be with them.

For their heart studieth destruction, and their lips talk of mischief.
Wer ein Haus baut, braucht Weisheit und Verstand;
Through wisdom is an house builded; and by understanding it is established:
wer dazu noch Geschick besitzt, kann es mit wertvollen und schönen Dingen füllen.
And by knowledge shall the chambers be filled with all precious and pleasant riches.
Ein weiser Mann verfügt über große Macht, und ein verständiger gewinnt immer mehr an Stärke hinzu.
A wise man is strong; yea, a man of knowledge increaseth strength.
Denn nur mit Strategie gewinnt man einen Kampf, und wo viele Ratgeber sind, da stellt sich der Sieg ein.
For by wise counsel thou shalt make thy war: and in multitude of counsellers there is safety.

Lay not wait, O wicked man, against the dwelling of the righteous; spoil not his resting place:
Denn der Aufrichtige mag zwar vom Unglück verfolgt werden, aber er steht immer wieder auf. Der Gottlose dagegen kommt darin um.
For a just man falleth seven times, and riseth up again: but the wicked shall fall into mischief.
Freue dich nicht über das Unglück deines Feindes; juble nicht über seinen Sturz!
Rejoice not when thine enemy falleth, and let not thine heart be glad when he stumbleth:
