und sprach zu ihnen: Man soll die Tore Jerusalems nicht auftun, bis daß die Sonne heiß wird; und wenn man noch auf der Hut steht, soll man die Türen zuschlagen und verriegeln. Und es wurden Hüter bestellt aus den Bürgern Jerusalems, ein jeglicher auf seine Hut seinem Hause gegenüber.

Ich sagte zu den beiden: »Die Tore von Jerusalem dürfen erst geöffnet werden, wenn die Sonne schon hoch am Himmel steht. Und sie sollen noch vor Sonnenuntergang wieder geschlossen und verriegelt werden. Stellt einige Einwohner von Jerusalem als Wachposten auf, die einen zum Schutz der Stadtmauer, die anderen für die Häuser in der Stadt!«

Ich sagte zu ihnen: Die Tore Jerusalems dürfen erst geöffnet werden, wenn die Sonne heiß scheint; und noch während alles auf den Beinen ist, soll man die Tore schließen und verriegeln. Auch soll man Wachen aus den Einwohnern Jerusalems bilden; jeder soll eine bestimmte Zeit des Wachdienstes haben, und zwar jeweils vor seinem Haus.
