Später verließ Esau das Land. Seine Frauen, Kinder und alle, die zu ihm gehörten, nahm er mit; dazu seine Viehherden und den Besitz, den er in Kanaan erworben hatte. Er zog in das Land Seïr, fort von seinem Bruder Jakob.

Und Esau nahm seine Weiber, Söhne und Töchter und alle Seelen seines Hauses, seine Habe und alles Vieh mit allen Gütern, so er im Lande Kanaan erworben hatte, und zog in ein ander Land, hinweg von seinem Bruder Jakob.
