Hoffnung für Alle
Sie besaßen beide so große Viehherden, dass es im Land Kanaan nicht genug Weidefläche für sie gab.

Denn ihre Habe war zu groß, daß sie nicht konnten beieinander wohnen; und das Land, darin sie Fremdlinge waren, vermochte sie nicht zu ertragen vor der Menge ihres Viehs.

Ihre Habe war nämlich zu groß, als dass sie zusammen hätten wohnen können. Das Land, in dem sie sich aufhielten, konnte sie wegen ihres Viehbestandes nicht ernähren.
