Die Erde ist in Frevlerhand gegeben, das Gesicht ihrer Richter deckt er zu. Ist er es nicht, wer ist es dann?

Das Land aber wird gegeben unter die Hand der Gottlosen, und der Richter Antlitz verhüllt er. Ist’s nicht also, wer anders sollte es tun?

Fällt ein Land Tyrannen in die Hände und werden alle Richter blind für das Recht, so hat Gott das getan! Wenn nicht er — wer sonst?
