Beim Klang der Hörner wiehert es laut, wittert den Kampf schon von ferne; es hört, wie die Anführer Befehle schreien und wie der Schlachtruf ertönt.

So oft die Drommete klingt, spricht es: Hui! und wittert den Streit von ferne, das Schreien der Fürsten und Jauchzen.

Sooft das Horn ertönt, wiehert es hui und wittert den Kampf schon von Weitem, der Anführer Lärm und das Geschrei.
